Just about anyone can get inFeb 26 2010Philosophy
Just about anyone can get in. Not everyone here should have--many would've benefited from a year or two at Pima or another community college. I think some of the negative comments stem from this problem, because the university's resources are consumed in helping students who are significantly behind coming in catch up for their first year or so.

If you want to party, don't come here. Please. We have an unfortunate reputation as a "party school," and those of us who care about academics really don't like that. Go to SDSU, or Cal-Chino, or Long Beach. The parties there are much better anyhow.
